Some poor quality screen caps of the famous fedora Daniel Alfredsson was sporting yesterday.
I apologize for the sucky quality but it's the best I can do. According to Chris Stevenson of the Ottawa Sun, the lucky hat is coming on the Senators road trip to California:
Actually, the most troubling part of that article was Stevenson pointing out that Alfredsson has been playing hurt. Here's hoping that hasn't felt pressured to return since obviously the team wasn't getting it done without him.
I just have to say a "Bravo. Well done!" to Mrs. Alfredsson for our captain's fashion choices lately, he's been looking particular stylish what with sporting Burberry scarves and all. I've been searching tirelessly for a screen shot of that beautiful black zippered coat he wore a couple of weeks ago for the game that was broadcast during Hockey Day in Canada but to no avail. You'll just have to take my word for it that it was awesome.

Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson showed up for yesterday's game with a snappy blue fedora-type lid and after the Senators beat the Penguins 5-4, the hat left with the Senators for their Western road swing last night.
"You know me. I'm not superstitious," said Alfredsson, who bounced out of the doldrums with a two-goal game which also included four or five stitches, a leap into a second-period melee and a very Alfredsson-like performance.
"I just thought I would spice it up a bit with a new look. The guys would probably have a laugh."
