Quote of the Day

Actually it's from a couple of days ago but I just remembered it now. I thought it'd help lighten the mood since Sens Nation seems to be way too down lately. This was an exchange between my housemates: G is a Senators fan, L is a Canucks fan and X is a Leafs fan. Keep in mind that I'm paraphrasing from a memory that's been plied with alcohol over the last couple of days. This took place I believe on the evening of game 4 between the Sens and Pens.

G to X (after some snarky Sens-bashing comment): At least we got into the playoffs.
X: Not for very long! You might as well not have been there.
G: I bet your team doesn't even know how to spell 'Playoffs' anymore.
X: Of course we do.
G: "G-O-L-F"
L: "I-I-H-F"

Well hey, at least on the plus side there's still a chance to see some of our boys play spring hockey.

    I call BS on that.

    a. no sens/canucks fans are quick enough to think of those comebacks

    b. there was no yelling about 4 straight playoff eliminations so I don't think that was a real Leafs fan.

PPP, no Sens/Canucks fans...except for us of course ;)

I'm skeptic unless the Sens fan was you or SLC, Sherry. As for a Canucks fan? They probably just recycled something a Leaf fan used on them earlier this post season.

    ;P

Jared, I would like to think that I had something to do with fostering their hockey fandom. Would you be more inclined to believe knowing my influence over them? :P

you created a Leaf fan? Isn't that a hang'n crime in Sens land?

Oh no, I claim no ownership over THAT.
