I'm back from my mini break to provide you with a non-hockey related post. Today, HBC unveiled Team Canada's Olympic Uniforms for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
All I have to say is...no comment.
Draft Schmaft 2008
Thanks to wonderful reader Valerie, who had been doing some research in regards as to how to get tickets for this year's entry draft in Ottawa, I now have some more info about when/how to get tickets. Apparently tickets for the general public won't be on sale until Mid-May. I'll be posting more information over the next couple of days but I'm still slightly swamped so hopefully the delay won't be too long. Until then, stay safe and drink responsibly!

Good god, that...sweatsuit (?) is horrendous.
The shorts/tank top the chick with the very prominent lipstick is wearing looks ok, as do the shorts on the two most foregrounded boys. I could do without a hooded tank top, but evidently I'm just not fashion forward.
I may or may not like the t-shirt headband dude and the guy behind him are wearing...I'm not sure yet.
hopefully The U.S. uniforms aren't that flamboyant

CKim, the fact that the headband is made into a full body tracksuit disturbs me like you wouldn't believe.
Dare, the shorts and the plain t-shirts look all right but I agree...the tracksuit is...special.

Sherry, I got my email for tickets today. Well yesterday. Being a season ticket holder you are allowed to get tickets before they go on sale to the public.
Tell me again why ROOTS stopped making the clothes?
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little....
