Obviously I know this season has been swirling down the crapper for sometime now but I still liked to think the team might provide some kind of happiness by laying a good old fashioned regular season smack down on the Leafs for old time sake. Seriously, they could go 6-76 on a season and I'd be happy as long as those 6 wins come at the hands of the Laughs.
This would have ruined my week after coming back from sunny Cuba if not for the fact I just found out my company has instituted mandatory unpaid leaves of absence in lieu of the recession. YAY America!

Well you are a true fan...not caring if they go 6-76. Mix that with blaming America for a global issue...you are very interesting.
I never said I'd not care, I'd just be happy if they could beat the Leafs.
As far as blaming the US for a "global issue". It is in fact a global issue however a great deal of the recession was kicked off with the sub prime lending crisis spawned right in the "U S and A". Of course it is a hockey blog so prudent of you to bring it up perhaps I should have kept that view to myself. It was simply designed to express to the readers my anger with the game was second only to the fact I am now without 1 weeks pay.
Thank you for reading and I appreciate the feedback.

Err.. why isn't anyone posting about the trades that will happen with Ottawa? This game was on Saturday. Its now Monday. Kuba has said that if he can't get a deal he will waive his NTC and Neil looks like a goner.
I know the lovely and talented CB is in Ottawa to head to the game with the also lovey and beautiful and equally a talented HG.. but why not post some fun stuff? Trade deadline is awesome!
We get to see Daffy Duck (Brian Burke) in action and we get to see how our team is going to be shaped. Giggles may be on his way out. Murray may be playing smoke and mirrors.
Who cares if he lost to the Laffs. They are a crappy team. We lost because of a rookie goaltender. Plain and simple. Ottawa is the better team, TO just got lucky on Elliot playing like crap. He is no better than Gerber.
Geeze.. CB would have responded by now :P
I'm not much of a rumour monger, what can I say? I think there is no shortage of trade speculation out there on the web and I am anything from an insider so anything I give you would be moot. I take pretty much everything I read these days leading up to the trade deadline with a grain of salt large enough to choke an elephant.
Sorry for the lack of posts lately first came vacation and now I have an exam on Monday so it's kind of tying up my schedule. I am on sabatical next week (YAY!), unpaid sabatical (BOO!) so hopefully I'll get some good recaps of all the deadliney goodness to you kind, loyal readers.
Geeze... CB would post even when she was busy! Joking.
Its better to have unpaid leave than not having a job at all!
